A Place to Grow Learning Center has been providing quality childcare and preschool for ages 12 weeks to 5 years since 2001. Our Vision is to create a love of learning and a lifetime of memories. With video surveillance and security cameras both inside and outside the building, we provide a safe and secure environment. Specialized childcare software along with biometric ID scanning allows convenient and secure check-in and check-out. |

Our Owner |
|
Dana Cupples is the owner of A Place to Grow. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University and a Special Education Degree from Duquesne University. Before opening the center in 2001, Dana was a teacher for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. |

Our Directors |

Nicole Bush has been with A Place to Grow since early 2002. Nicole taught the Pre-K program before being promoted to Assistant Director in 2007 and Director in 2008. She received her Associate’s Degree in Teacher Education from CCAC. |

Terry DeMoss has been the Director of A Place to Grow since the opening in 2002. She is a graduate of Slippery Rock University. Terry previously taught Kindergarten at a private school in New Kensington for ten years. She was awarded a full scholarship from the Child Care Institute and earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) in May 2006. |

Sarah LaMarca joined A Place to Grow Learning Center in 2013, where she started as a toddler teacher before being promoted to the Assistant Director position in 2014. She has over ten years of childcare experience in clinical and educational settings. Sarah received a Bachelors of Psychology from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2006. |

Heather Isaac joined A Place to Grow Learning Center in 2004 and worked in various classrooms as a teachers aide and teacher. She worked 5 years as the Preschool Teacher. In 2008 Heather was promoted to Assistant Director. She continues to support various rooms as well has help with trainings. |

Carrie Caterino joined A Place to Grow Learning Center in 2011 as a part-time aide. In 2015 Carrie was promoted to the Program Coordinator. She worked as a Nanny for several families over the course of 20 years. In between nanny positions Carrie was an Human Resource Executive Assistant as well as a Human Resource Manager over a span of 8 years. |

Kris Lucas joined A Place to Grow Learning Center in 2017. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Kris began working as a floater in the infant and toddler classrooms and currently opens and closes the center daily. As a registered nurse, Kris helps create health and safety poliices that exceed standards for both children and staff. |
